Rachelle Juter is a multi-award winning, 3rd generation, designer jeweller. Both Rachelle’s grandfather and father were jewellers, and it is this connection that first drew her to jewellery, and has kept the passion burning strong for over 25 years.
Rachelle Juter’s unique, individually designed and handmade jewellery is created using unusual and precious gemstones, pearls, sterling silver, 18ct and 9ct gold, titanium, platinum, copper and bronze, to complement the designs. It is created primarily by blending traditional skills with new and original designs, resulting in special pieces meticulously hand made. The inspiration for most of her works come directly from the stones she works with, although there is also a strong design reference to nature and its’ elements, and continuity of line and form.
The jewellery that Rachelle will be displaying and selling at Arcadian Artists trail is the culmination of many years of designing special pieces of wearable artworks that are infinitely wearable, unique and aesthetically appealing with colours, textures and shapes all perfectly considered and balanced into the one-off and limited production items.
Rachelle has won numerous major national jewellery awards including a DeBeers International Diamond Award, and she regularly exhibits in various galleries either in group exhibitions, or solo shows. Her work has been presented and commissioned by customers all over the world, and whether it is a simple pair of drop earrings, or a more elaborately detailed multi-stoned pendant that is purchased, one can be certain of acquiring a piece that will last, and give much pleasure to its new owner.
